f41ccde2f8 i've been doing retroactive licensing wrong. Only 2.0+ are under the gpl. 
Previous versions are bound by their own original licenses as originally intended. This means that for example, if 1.0 RC4 was under the GPL license, it remains under the GPL license regardless of the changes in mastern
